Abstract

429,600. Coffee percolators. COLLINS, G. H., and COLLINS, H. F., Premier Works, Keeley Street, Birmingham. Dec. 1, 1933, No. 33744. [Class 129] A percolator comprises a pouring vessel 5 having a strainer 15 detachably supported in its upper part, a flat non-perforated bottom 26 with an external electric heater 40, a valveless riser tube 19 carried by and extending through the base 20 of the strainer and having an enlarged trumpet shaped base 21 disposed above and immediately adjacent the bottom 26. In the Figure, the riser tube 19 is secured to the base of the strainer by a collar 28. The heater is secured to the underside of the bottom 26.
