Abstract

268,549. Borgnis, S. April 1, 1926. Infusers.-An infuser for use with tea, coffee, and like pots comprises a domed base 9 to which is secured the perforated receptacle 11 for the tea &c. A tube 14 is secured to and communicates with the interior of the base 9 and has perforations 23 in the portion within the receptacle 11. The receptacle cover 12, preferably perforated, slides on the upper portion of the tube 14. A perforated disc 18, to which a handle 22 is attached, is secured to the top of the tube. Both cover 12 and disc 18 have upstanding flanges 25, 21 at their outer edges. Apertures 10 are provided on the portion of the dome 9 outside receptacle 11. In use, the filled receptacle is inserted into the pot 5 and water is added. The pot is then heated until the water boils, the circulation of the hot water being controlled by the device.
