PATENT OFFICE all whom it may concern:
Be itknown that I, LEON BARRETT, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Philadelphia, county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Percolating Unit, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, wherein:--
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the percolating unit showing my new design;
Figure 2 is an elevational View thereof; and
Figure 3 is a top plan view thereof.
The percolating unit as herein disclosed is adapted for bodily insertion within any suitable vessel containing water to be heated, the upper bulbous part of the unit being adapted to receive cofiee grounds, tea leaves or the like of which coffee, tea or the like is to be brewed. The percolating unit containing the coffee grounds or the like is partially or completely submerged within the water to be heated, the said water being forced upwardly and through the base of the unit into the bulbous part thereof whereby to extract from the coffee grounds or the like the essences of which the brew is made, the said essences being ejected from the unit by way of the apertures which are provided in the side walls of the unit.
I claim: The ornamental design for a percolating unit as shown and described.
LEON BARRETT.
