538,189. Apparatus for brewing tea &c. SILEX CO. Jan. 18, 1940, Nos. 1134, 1135 and 1136. Convention dates, Feb. 18, 1939, March 30, 1939 and Dec. 12, 1939. [Class 129] A tea &c. urn comprises an upper vessel 3 containing the tea &c., a lower water vessel 1 with a depending tube 5 therein, an upper tube 8 extending into the tube 5 and carrying a perforated flange 21 holding a strainer 26 against the upper part of the tube 5. The tube 8 carries a spray-producer comprising a ball 28, holes 30 in the tube, and a cap 36 with an inclined flange 38. The tube 8 is fixed to the tube 5 by a spring stirrup 14-16 and a hook 18.
