517,644. Coffee infusion apparatus. DRAKE, R. H. M. and MONTEGGIA, A. Aug. 4, 1938, No. 23081. [Class 129] Coffee infusion apparatus comprises a boiling vessel 1 within which is inserted a closely fitting sleeve 6 formed at its upper end with a ground coffee chamber 8 on to which is screwed a finely perforated lid 10 and over which is inverted a coffee jug 14 to rest on a beading 4 of the vessel 1. When the water is boiling, as indicated by steam issuing from a small vent hole 19, the whole apparatus is inverted so that the water percolates. through' the coffee into the jug. The inverting of the apparatus is facilitated by the horizontal portions of the handles 3, 17 of the vessel and jug being adjacent and parallel.
