Urns and infusing-machines.-In coffee-infusing machines of the kind wherein the water is raised by steam pressure from a vessel a in which it is boiled to a vessel a<1> containing the ground coffee, the coffee is carried by a receptacle e, which may have a sieve-like cover f and bottom, supported on a float d which raises it out of the infusion. The upper vessel a<1> may have a central tube b, forming a guide for receptacle e, through which the hot water passes to vessel a<1>, entering by outlets b'. The tube b may end slightly above the bottom of the lower vessel a so that all the water is not forced into the upper vessel a<1> into which steam finally enters and, by raising the cover c slightly, escapes through perforations in the cover flange. The vessels a, a<1> may be detachably secured together at a beaded edge g by fasteners g<1>. The vessel a has a handle c<2> and an outlet cock h<1>. The device may be made of aluminium.
