[Class 81 (i)] An air - improving apparatus comprises a perforated c y l i n drical tube 4 pro vided at its upper end with a liquic containing cap 8 having an adjust able drip nozzle 9 below which is ab sorbent materia (hemp) contained in a wire sieve 12 or perforated meta tube. A semi-cylin drical sheath 2 is provided to cove] the perforations 5 in the tube 4, wher desired, by rotatior of either the tube 4 or the sheath 2. A lower container 7 is provided to receive surplus liquid perfume. Both the cap and container may be attached to the tube 4 by bayonet joints, or the cap may be formed separately and fixed in the tube.
