Abstract
PURPOSE: To uniformly maintain the size of liquid-drops dripping from the nozzles of a reservoir for raw liquid material, the reservoir is kept at a constant internal static pressure by use of a head tube or the like.
CONSTITUTION: Raw material liquid is fed from the tank 1 through the tube pump 2 to a closed-type raw material liquid reservoir 3. The reservoir 3 has a number of needle-like nozzles 4 of the same diameter at the bottom of the reservoir 3. The top of the reservoir 3 is provided with a head pipe 7. The raw material liquid overflowing the head pipe 7 passes through the trap 8 and piping to the tank 1. Because of this arrangement, the pressure h of head 7 applies to the nozzles 4 regardless of pump pressure 2. As a result, the same size liquid-drops 6 always form at the nozzles 4, which drip on the treating bath 5 located below. Constant pressure valve may be used instead of the head tube 7.
