[Class 80 (i)] Relates to chain gearing of the kind in which the chains 19, 20 which transmit drive between the shafts 10, 11 pass around a double sprocket 18, which is manually displaceable to effect tensioning. According to the invention, the sprockets 18 are mounted on a carrier 39, pivoted at one end 41 with freedom for longitudinal movement and adjustable at the other end by a device such as a pivoted eyebolt 44 and nuts 46 engaging a pivoted bar 45. Specification 1343/10, [Class 80 (i)], is referred to.
