[Class 80 (ii)] In a chain shifting gear for cycles of the kind comprising a jockey and' tensioning sprocket 11 rotatably mounted upon a transversely movable axle 10 upon a swinging arm 9 which is under the tension of a spring 12, a chain guide 16 is provided comprising integrallyformed side plates 16a, 16c, distance-piece 16d, and a forked extension 16g for engaging Hats on the axle 10 bv a driven fit. A cross rivet 16e may also be provided as a further distancepiece.
