Driving-gear for endless belt and chain conveyers; casings.-In endless band &c. conveyers b, c, driven by gearing enclosed within the framing of the apparatus and entirely or partially covered by a bed or table a over which the conveyers pass, the table is pivoted at a<1> in order that it can be raised, Fig. 2, for the purpose of inspecting, adjusting or repairing the various mechanisms located beneath the table. A stay f supports the table in the raised position. The conveyers are driven by a shaft d which is driven through gearing by a. pinion e meshing with a driving gear e<1>.
