Abstract
Sliding-contact machine parts such as bearings, guides, pistons, &c., are made of aluminium alloys containing 1-12 per cent of copper, 0,3-12 per cent of zinc, and 0,5-10 per cent of iron. Preferably the proportions of copper and zinc are about equal.
