436,389. Piles. HOLLAND & HANNEN & CUBITTS, Ltd., and HATCHARD, M. GALLAI-, 1, Queen Anne's Gate, Westminster. April 10, 1934, No. 10796. [Class 68 (ii)] A composite pile is made by driving by impact a bottom length A with a socket B in its upper end, placing a mould D upon it, and driving further both the parts A, B by means of a dolly C placed in the mould ; the dolly is then removed and the socket B and mould D are filled with concrete. As shown the mould has hinged flaps d at its lower end to facilitate its w i t h d r a wal. Reinforcements may be placed in the concrete, which may be tamped.
