Abstract

435,375. Illuminated signs; displaying. ARISTO SIGN CO., Ltd., and KRESLAWSKY, P., 167, Strand, London. May 17, 1935, No. 14473. [Class 3 (ii)] A sign comprises a paraboloidal reflector 11 provided with a lamp at its focus for illuminating transparent or translucent advertising matter formed in an opaque or dark coloured disc 14 at its front, the reflector being adjustably mounted by a strap or bracket 18 on the back of an illuminated casing 3. This casing is provided with a window 8 displaying advertising matter and with apertures 7, preferably covered by glass or like material, through which light passes to illuminate objects displayed on the steps 4. The front of the casing surrounding the window 8, and the risers 4<a> may be provided with advertising matter applied thereto or cut out of the material of the casing so as to be illuminated by the lamp 5. The disc 14 may be a mirror. Specification 428,253 is referred to.
