431,335. Gas burners. BORNKESSEL, P., 16, Bahnstrasse, S³dende, Berlin. Jan. 1, 1934, No. 103. Convention date, Jan. 2, 1933. [Class 75 (i)] An atmospheric gas burner, adapted to be supplied with gaseous mixture under pressure, is provided in the outlet with two discs b, c having one or more apertures e, a ring of smaller apertures f for auxiliary or ignition flames being arranged around the main outlet apertures e in the outer disc b. The apertures e in the disc b may be aligned with, or staggered in relation to, the apertures in the disc c. The sum of the cross-sectional areas of the apertures in the disc b must be at least as great as that of the apertures in the disc c. The discs may be fitted in annular grooves, or supported on projections or steps, in the burner casing a, or they may be screwed, or secured by screws, in the casing, the depth of the pressure-reducing space d being adjusted by means of rings of different depth. One or more wire gauzes may be inserted between the discs.
