431,113. Valves. LOUIS, B. B., and NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP KONINKLIJKE MAATSCHAPPIJ DE SCHELDE, Vlissingen, Flushing, Holland. Dec. 7, 1934, No. 35273. [Class 135] [See also Group XIX] A multiple valve device for connecting any one of a number of pipes to a pressure indicator comprises a valve chest A preferably hexagonal in section provided with a central passage E communicating with a number of ducts C at right angles to it, alternate ones ending on ad jacent faces of the valve chest A. The ducts extend right through the chest ending at the rear in nipples D connected by pipes E to a main pipe F. Passing out through stuffing boxes M, L at the front are screwed valve spindles G the inner ends of which form valve seating on the inner ends of the rear parts of the ducts. By opening any valve by a key chained to the device, the passage B is placed into communication with any one of the pipes E. The passage B communicates through a stop valve with an indicator 1.
