Abstract

430,432. Spectacles &c. RIEGLER, F., 3, Kaufingerstrasse, Munich, Germany. Dec. 20, 1933, No. 35880. Convention date, Dec. 21, 1932. [Class 97 (i)] A spectacle or eyeglass frame is provided with a yoke 1 fixed to the tops of the rims 6 or lenses, the central part 4 of the yoke forming the bridge. The plaquets 5 are carried by extensions 1a of the yoke. In the case of spectacles having temple pieces 2 the yoke is extended across the back of the lenses and the temples are hinged to its outer ends at points above the horizontal axis of the lenses and to the rear of the lenses. The bridge is bent forwardly as shown in Fig. 3 and the yoke is bent rearwardly from its points of connection with the rims.
