Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Jan. 3, 1934]. [Class 38 (ii)] An arrangement for delivering energy from one alternating current system to another by means of grid controlled discharge vessels includes synchronously actuatedswitchdrums which interrupt the discharge paths of the vessels and prevent back ignition, &c. The supply system 4a is connected direct to the rectifying discharge vessels 1a<11>, 2a<11>, 3a<11>, 1a<1>, 2a<1>, 3a<1>. The latter are connected through switch drums 5a<11>, 5a<1>, and 5b<11>, 5b<1> to the inverter system comprising discharge vessels 1b<11>, 2b<11>, 3b<11>, 1b<1>, 2b<1>, 3b<1>, and transformer windings 1b, 2b, 3b.
