426,350. Valve circuits for wireless reception. COSSOR, Ltd., A. C., and REYNER, J. H., Highbury Grove, London. Oct. 4, 1933, No. 27320. [Class 40 (v)] The frequency separation between desired and undesired signals in a wireless receiver is increased by using the first stage as a frequency multiplier comprising two valves with push-pull input, biassed to the lower bend. Their output circuits are in parallel to balance out the fundamental frequency, L1, C1 being tuned to the double frequency which is passed to the high frequency amplifier V3 and detector D. The superheterodyne system can be applied to receivers of this type by beating with the multiple frequency.
