[Class 40 (v)] A circuit for the reception of wave bands, such as the adjacent carriers of television and associated sound signals, comprises a broadly-tuned input circuit feeding two electron-multipliers 10, 11 connected in cascade through circuits 29, 30 tuned to the vision carrier frequency, the carrier for the associated sound signals being taken off from the final secondary cathode 16 of the first multiplier through tuned circuits 38, 39 connected to a further multiplier.
