[Classes 40 (iii) and 40 (v)] According to the parent Specification the deflecting-potentials for a television receiver of the cathode-ray type are transmitted on independent carrier waves, preferably of ultrahigh frequency. According to the present Specification these deflecting-potentials may be of the interlaced scanning or other non- sequential type.
