[Class 99 (i)] An adaptor for pipe joints comprises a tubular member screwthreaded externally at one end 14, the other end 11 being smooth and of uniform diameter to fit over or into a tube and be sweated thereto, and an intermediate collar 16 of polygonal form. In using the adaptor with a tee 18 or other fitting the smooth end 11 abuts against a shoulder 20.
