[Class 135] Relates to a parallel slide valve having an automatic valve k at the junction of three passages e, c, d, leading to the intervalve chamber f, the valve inlet, and the valve outlet respectively, so as to maintain the intervalve chamber always under inlet pressure. According to the invention, the automatic valve k is in the form of a disc with seats at opposite sides and has guide projections m, n extending into the inlet and outlet connections. These connections may be restricted at o to limit leakage if the valve k fails to act.
