[Class 135] In a combined safety and isolating valve, the safety valve a is of the high - lift type and has a cylindrical extension b below its seat, the extension being provided with ports e co-operating with ports c in the casing to act as the isolating valve, and with ports f for the escape of steam. The valve is loaded on the atmosphere side by a spring which is adjustable by means accessible while the valve is in service.
