[Class 135] In valves having a spindle inclined to colinear circular inlet and outlet passages as described in the parent Specification and in which the passage 2 opens tangentially into an enlargement 4 above the seat 3, the inclined seat aperture 3 is substantially of the same circular bore as the passages 1, 2 and is located within the cylindrical space whose upper and lower boundaries are the parallel lines representing the internal surface of the. straight part of the inlet and the alined parallel lines representing the internal surface of the outlet. The dotted line a-b is the upper line ; the lower line is not marked. In a modified form a depression is made at the place marked x.
