Abstract
423,011. Reciprocating pumps. BEATTY BROS., Ltd., and ANDERSON, H. M., Fergus, Ontario, Canada. June 19, 1934, No. 18069. [Class 102 (i)] The inlet pipe 7 and the discharge pipe 11 of a pump are secured to a manifold 1, which is secured to the pump body 2, by means of a single bolt 17. The manifold forms the suction chamber, and is formed with a port 8, which registers with the inlet port 3 of the pump body, and with a port 12, which registers with the pump discharge port 4. A passage connecting the port 12 and the pipe 11 passes through the hollow interior of the manifold 1.
