Abstract

421,321. Reflectors. ORCHARD, W. S., 125, Flaxley Road, Stechford, Birmingham. May 2, 1934, No. 13192. [Class 97 (i)] Means for attaching a rear reflector to the wheel spokes of a cycle &c. comprises a bifurcated pin or member fixed to the reflector or its mounting, the bifurcations being adapted to receive a wire spoke between them, and the bifurcated member being clamped on the spoke by means of a screwed member engaging it and pressing against the spoke. In Fig. 2 an externally threaded pin 4 projects axially from the reflector 1 and is formed with a slot 5 which receives the spoke 2. A nut 6 clamps the spoke against the inner end of the slot. In Fig. 3 the bifurcated member 11 extends radially from the reflector 8 and one of its limbs is threaded to receive a screw 12 by which the reflector is clamped on the spoke.
