Abstract

531,535. Look-out reflector for vehicles. HINTON, R. J. July 26, 1939, No. 21682. [Class 103 (ii)] An adjustable mirror-supporting arm 1 passes through the shank 4 of a hollow bolt and has a fitting 2 provided with a lug or two diametrical lugs which are urged by a spring 6 into notches in the head 3 of the bolt, whereby the arm is always returned to the same extended position. The spring 6 is arranged between a nut 5 on the bolt and a washer 8 secured by a split pin 9 on the arm 1. A clamp 7 for securing the device to the handlebar of a cycle &c. is provided.
