530,287. Windscreen wipers. DUDLEY, W. June 21, 1939, No. 18036. [Class 138 (i)] [Also in Group XXIV] In a windscreen wiper in which the arm is connected to its spindle by a V- projection and notch the arm 2 is pivoted to a bracket comprising a block 9 and a U-shaped stiap 10 freely embracing a sleeve 11 secured to the spindle 3, the sleeve being provided with a collar 6 on which the V-shaped projections 5 are formed for engaging a groove 4 in the block. The block may have grooves at right angles. Specification 518,504 is referred to.
