519,369. Artificial arms. HITCHEN, H. Aug. 19, 1938, No. 24388. [Class 81 (ii)] Control mechanism for use with automobiles, bicycles and other vehicles comprises a member 8 having a cup shaped socket 5 adapted to be connected to an artificial arm preferably by a threaded portion 9, and a ball member 1 formed on a pin 2 adapted to be secured on a steering wheel 4, gear lever or the like, said socket being so shaped that it can be freely engaged with or freed from the ball member The pin 2 may be attached to the saddle piece 10 by threading therein or by a nut on the inner side the saddle piece having a pair of bands 11 pivoted on either side thereof and clamped on the wheel by the threaded rod 13 and wing nut 12.
