Abstract

[Class 69 (iii)] [See also Group VI] In a nozzle for mixing fluids, more particularly for aerating liquids with air or gas, of the kind comprising a nozzle having means to cause a fluid to rotate therein and a subsidiary duct for delivering another fluid or fluids to the main bore, the means for rotating the fluid comprises a fixed but removable worm 15 having a single or multiple thread, held in position by a locking member 23 apertured for the passage of fluid. The worm is mounted in a centrally perforated nozzle 11, provided with ducts 31, 33, through which air or gas is directed or forced. The gas ducts which are angularly directed to the flow of liquid may also be directed tangentially to the bore 13. The nozzle may be mounted on a cock for delivering liquid to a glass containing a beverage.
