Abstract
415,758. Electric clocks. MUIRHEAD & CO., Ltd., and MUIRHEAD, F. H., Elmers End, Kent. Jan. 24, 1933, No. 2332. [Class 139.] In a synchronous motor clock means are provided in the gear train whereby intermittent rotation of the hands is secured. For example, an eccentric pin 3 on the rotor spindle 1 may drive the train step-by-step through a toothed wheel 8, or the spindle 1 may drive the first wheel of the train through Geneva stop mechanism. Alternatively, or in addition, the step-by-step drive may be fitted at any other point in the gear train.
