Abstract

411,053. Stands. BUCKINGHAM, H. C. G., Albert Works, Newbury, Berkshire. Dec. 22, 1933, No. 36071. [Class 52 (v).] A revolving boot or shoe stand comprises one or more tiers of boot supporting frames each consisting of two rings 1, 2 spaced apart on a rotatable axial post 3 supported in stationary upper and lower bearings 8, 11, the lower ring 12 of each tier being of larger diameter so that the boots &c., are supported in an inclined position. The stand may be adapted to fit within a cupboard. The rings 1, 2 are connected to the axial post 3 by adial brackets 4 and the post is supported between a platform 9 and the top of a casing 12 containing a drawer 13. The platform 9 is carried by hooks engaging racks 10 on a back board 14. Octagonal or other shaped rings may be employed. In a modification the platform 9 is replaced by bracket arms screwed to the back board and carrying a bearing for the upper end of the post 3.
