Abstract

1337970 Rotatable display stands; shelving MODERNA BUTIKSINREDNINGAR AB 16 Dec 1970 [24 Dec 1969] 59724/70 Headings A4B and A4H A display stand has a rotatable tubular support 25 suspended from an inner fixed tubular post 23 by and upper thrust bearing (32), Fig.5 (not shown), support 25 carrying opposed holders 35 having hooked ends 35a, 35b for the reception of hooks 34 of radial partition walls (12, 13) 14 (15) to mount the latter in angularly spaced positions around support 25, and the partition walls such as 14 having slots 36 for the reception of coupling means 48, 49, 50 on the lower surfaces of shelves 40 to mount the latter at various levels between the partition walls. Each tray 40 includes at least one coupling element 50 that is pivoted about 52b to pass successively through two adjacent slots 36, arm 52 thereof thereby also supporting an adjacent tray. Fixed coupling fingers 48, 49 have respectively a notch 48c and a rounded end 49c that co-operate with the slots 36, the projecting portions thereof supporting an adjacent tray. Post 23 is mounted on a wheeled carriage (21), Fig.1 (not shown). The hooked ends 35a, 35b of the holders 35 may be displaceable relative to one another. The trays may be of triangular, quadrangular or parallelogram configuration. Hooks for supporting merchandise may also be engaged in the slots 36.
