Abstract

532,762. Drawing-tables. SINCLAIR, W. D. W., and WINSOR & NEWTON, Ltd. Sept. 7, 1939, No. 25350. [Class 52 (iii)] A stand for a drawing board comprises a number of uprights 1...4 connected to form a rigid structure, board-supporting tubes 26, 27 hinged to the underside of the board and slidable through sleeves 24 rockable between the uprights 2, 3, and further board supporting tubes 8, 9 hinged to the underside of the board and arranged to be raised or lowered in the uprights 1, 4. The tubes 8, 9 are raised by gearing operated by a handle 22. The sleeves 24 are split so that after adjustment of the tubes 26, 27, they may be clamped on to the tubes by rotating a nut 36.
