[Class 52 (iii)] [Also in Group XVI] A typwriting, cal culating or like machine is supporte( on a table by mean of a stand so arranged that a boo] from . which entries are to be transcribed can be pushed under the machine, the stand consisting as shown in the Figure of telescopic, tubular members 6, 9 connected by cross-plates 7 on which the machine is placed, one or more of the cross-plates being slidable on the members. Each member may be laterally and vertically telescopic. The stand may be provided with fixed feet, or detachable feet which preferably consist of rubber collars having projections or notches for engaging similar parts on the stand.
