Abstract

1. Fitting for a work table with vertically adjustable top, also adjustable in its inclination, characterized by the fact that two vertical posts (11, 12) are connected to each other like a portal by means of a cross rail (10), that at the upper ends of the posts (11, 12), horizontal crossarms (13, 14) are mounted vertically to the cross rail (10), that in the area of the free ends of these crossarms (13, 14) a supporting frame for the top is mounted so that it can be tilted round a horizontal axis, that in the posts (11, 12), adjusting spindles (57) are pivotally mounted, which are adjustable in adjustable bushes (22, 58) by means of adjusting nuts (59), that the adjustable bushes (22, 58), telescopically adjustable in the posts (11, 12), protrude from the bottom ends of the posts (11, 12) and connected with the cleats (20, 27), for connecting the fitting with the table frame, and that the adjusting spindles (57) are equipped with bevel gears (55) at the upper ends, which are in gear with bevel gears (54) which are mounted on a driveable shaft (49), arranged in the cross rail (10).
