[Classes 106 (ii) and 106 (iv).] In a barometer or like instrument, the direction in which the indicator hand 2 last moved is indicated by a signal member 4 frictionally mounted by a spring 5 on the spindle 3 of the hand 2, stops 8 being provided to limit the movement of the member 4, which displays a signal 4 at one or other of the apertures 7 in the dial.
