527,592. Indicating-apparatus. EDWARDS, L. W. C., and RICKARDS, F. C. April 15, 1939, No. 11534. [Class 106 (i)] An indicating of measuring instrument in which the pointer has a limited range of movement, is provide( with a driving spindle 1 to which is fixed a pointer actuating member 3 with an upturned end 4 to engage the pointer 5 loose on the spindle 1. The pointer 5 is maintained in contact with the member 3 by a hair spring 6 attached at its inner end to the spindle 1 and secured at its outer end to the pointer. Suitable stops are provided to limit the movement of the pointer.
