Abstract
543,419. Indicating pointer. JAEGER-AVIATION. July 5, 1939, No. 19606. Convention date, Aug. 5, 1938. [Class 106 (iv)] The pointer of an indicating instrument is constituted by a bar 1 of U-shaped cross-section the web 1b of which is cut away on either side of the centre on a certain length as at 3 and 4. The branches la of the bar are inclined slightly inwardly in the form of a very open V. The centre barrel comprises a head 6, a cylindrical part 7 and barrel 9, and is riveted to a plate 8 by having the part 7 burred over. A rivet 12 is secured for balancing purposes at one end. The indicating end 5 has the branches and part of the web cut away. The pointer may have a luminescent coating.
