Abstract

407,110. Reflectors. MACNAB, J., Oakfield, Arkwright Road, Marple, Cheshire. Sept. 30, 1932, No. 27186. [Class 97 (i).] In a light-reflecting lens of the cluster type for use as a sign &c. and consisting of a single piece of glass formed with front convex refracting surfaces a and rear concave reflecting surfaces b, both the said sets of surfaces are formed with flat sides where they run contiguously with one another, so that no non- refracting or non-reflecting surfaces are left between. The reflector is formed with an integral projecting collar c forming an abutment to limit the movement of the reflector through an apertured support. This collar extends rearwardly beyond the reflecting surfaces b so as to form a recess in which bitumen &c. d is inserted to protect the reflecting surfaces.
