405,909. Sewing machines. FAIRWEATHER, W. C., 86, Vincent Street, Glasgow.-(Singer Manufacturing Co. ; Elizabeth, New Jersey, U.S.A.) Aug. 24, 1933, No. 23527. [Class 112.] A thread case for a looper comprises a base 8 and a cap 9 with an end wall 24 to which is brazed a disc 25 cut to form a thread guide-tongue. The thread is led out from the centre of a cop 55, passed through a threading slot 30 and over the guide 26, through a slit 31, and under a tension spring 34 to the delivery notch 35. The means for locking together the base and the cap is described in Specification 406,218.
