Sewing-machines; lock-stitching. - A bobbincase is formed with a central tubular arbor open at both ends and receiving a removable shank . which carries the bobbin-securing latch. The latch 11 is pivoted in an enlarged head 13 of the tubular shank 7 and is held in open or closed position by a spring-pressed stud 15. The end of the shank 7 remote from the latch is split and receives a screw having a tapered head 10 for the purpose of clamping the shank within the arbor 3. Specification 233,812 is referred to.
