[Classes 20 (iv) and 87 (i).] Walls, ceilings, floors, and like structures are built-up by taking a pre-moulded set block with projecting metal reinforcement and applying it to a second pre-moulded block which is still plastic, so that the reinforcement enters into and binds in the plastic block in order to produce an integral combination of the two blocks. The process may be repeated indefinitely in the building of complicated structures by using the first pair of connected blocks as the pre-moulded set block, and applying it to a third plastic moulded block and so on. Fig. 2 shows a pre-moulded set block 1 being applied to the plastic block 4 so that the reinforcement 5 will penetrate into the material near the point 16. Non-connecting reinforcements 14 and cores 13 to produce imitation mortar joints also are provided. Fig. 3 shows a box-girder built up of blocks connected by the above method which may be filled with straw or like material treated to render it rot and fire proof. Figs. 7-11 illustrate various methods of building up the members to form floors, ceilings and joist-supports. In Fig. 7 the premoulded set block 20 is connected to the larger block to form a stepped support for a floor member 22. Fig. 8 shows a floor 24 and ceiling 26 supported by a girder 25. The pre-moulded set block 23 is connected to the ceiling 26. Fig. 9 shows a floor 27 resting on girders 29 and connected to the ceiling 30 by pre-moulded set blocks 28. Fig. 10 shows pre-moulded set blocks 33 connected to the ceiling 30 and also connected to nailing strips 32 to which the wooden floor 27 is secured, while Fig. 11 shows the wooden floor boards resting on the tops of the pre-moulded set blocks 34.
