Abstract

For the purpose of making easier the assembly and disassembly of a multi-storey open storage building by means of components which are inexpensive in terms of manufacture and easy to handle in terms of size, buildings are made from pillars 10 which are divided into storey-high lengths and provided with joint elements 17 and also externally positioned brackets 12. On these, crossbeams 11 of I-shaped cross section are suspended, the upper flange 21 having been shaped into a channel 22 of essentially the same width as the pillar. The lower flange 23 of the I-beam is cut so that it partly surrounds adjacent pillars, and the end portions of the beam are partly closed by plates 26 adapted for interacting with the brackets 12. Floors consisting of plane-corrugated panels 15 and wear decks 16 are laid on the crossbeams 11. <IMAGE>
