Abstract

Steel alloys for the manufacture of articles required to have high creep strength in use at temperatures of over 400 DEG C. contain up to 0.5 per cent of carbon, 0.3-10 per cent of cobalt, and 0.3-3 per cent of molybdenum, with or without up to 6 per cent of chromium, and with or without up to a total of 1.5 per cent of one or more of the elements copper, titanium, vanadium, nickel, silicon, manganese, tungsten, and aluminium.
