Abstract

A sintered hard alloy consists of carburized tungsten containing about 3-7 per cent of carbon, up to 25 per cent of a metal of lower melting point than tungsten such as iron, nickel or cobalt, and up to 50 per cent of titanium carbide. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 361,363.
