Abstract

Metal bodies are united together to form a compound body by a bonding material consisting of an alloy of manganese with any one or more of the metals nickel, iron, cobalt, chromium. The alloy contains at least 15 per cent of manganese. A number of mixtures or alloys of manganese with one or more of the other metals are given, together with the percentages of the metals.
