[Class 20 (ii).] Arcuate mine gallery supports are provided with end caps which bear on each other and are suitably fastened together. The caps 3 may be of angle section protruding on each side of the arcuate members 1, 2, and secured together by bolts 4 passing through the abutting flanges. Cushioning material may be placed between the cap flanges. The caps may be formed by bending down one of the flanges of the arcuate member over the web and other flange and so as to protrude beyond the other flange.
