[Class 20 (ii).] A roof-supporting plate for mines is formed of corrugated metal 8 with pressed-up protuberances 12 at the apices of the corrugations, and the plate is provided with apertures or ring bolts 15 for attachment of a hauling device so that it may be removed without danger to the workmen. The plates are supported by the usual mine props.
